Validic has implemented a fix. Users should no longer see the security warning when using the Edge browser to sync to Fitbit. We will monitor this fix for stability.

Update
Validic has reached out to Microsoft in an effort to remove this security alert. In the meantime, it has been discovered that a user can usually just refresh the error page to be taken to the Fitbit login and continue with the authorization.

Investigating
Some users are reporting that they are seeing security alerts when attempting to authorize Fitbit via the Validic Marketplace when using the Microsoft Edge web browser on a Microsoft Windows PC.
Validic is actively investigating this issue and will provide updates here as they are available.
